The premiere episode of Movie Matchup is right around the corner. Charlie and I couldn’t wait, however, to start talking about the new independent horror anthology coming out on July 5th, Drive-In Horrorshow. The film stars Luis Negron, Bill Gage, and Nancy Sadsad as well as Survivor veterans Jenna Morasca and Ethan Zohn. Our good friend, Michael Neel, directed this little gem and I had a chance to sit down and talk to him about the project.
I think you’ll have a great time listening to this fascinating director. Michael shares not only his own personal experience as a filmmaker but also talks about the making of Drive-In Horrorshow, independent film, the horror genre, his favorite cinematographers, and Shark Attack 3. In all honesty, I can listen to Michael all night. He’s a fascinating person and has a wealth of knowlege to share when it comes to movies. Trust me. Listen to this special edition of Movie Matchup and get to know one of greatest directors of all time!
As always, we would love to hear your thoughts about this episode. Send comments and feedback to moviematchup@gmail.com. If your interested in following Charlie or I on Twitter, search out @chagon34 and @yenchantroy. Hope you enjoy the interview!
